Reselling MailBuild Case Studies: EngineActive
Posted by David Greiner on March 28, 2008 11:23 AM
Today we've published another great rebranding success story from Australian-based Engine Active. I sat down with Michael Troy, the brains behind the rebrand to find out why he decided to go down this path, how he approached the entire process and any tips he might have for other designers considering doing something similar.
Michael had some great advice on the marketing side of things, particularly his unique idea for their 'partner program'. Check out the full case study for all the juicy details.
If you're having some success re-branding MailBuild and want to share your experience with your fellow designers, please let us know. We love highlighting how clever you guys are.

Reselling MailBuild Case Studies: MagicMail
Posted by Mathew Patterson on September 14, 2007 12:41 PM
The team from imagic in Christchurch, New Zealand, were originally planning to build their own email application.
Then they had a change of heart...
We stumbled across Mailbuild and thought... 'hang on a moment - why reinvent the wheel when some one has done all the hard work?'
Instead, they got to work creating a fantastic website complete with Flash video for MagicMail their rebranded version of MailBuild.

Reselling MailBuild Case Studies: Broadcast
Posted by David Greiner on July 6, 2007 12:00 PM
The Broadcast story is a great one. The team from Leicester based Rock Kitchen Harris had spent weeks building their own in house email marketing tool for their clients.
That all changed when they discovered MailBuild...
After we sent you an email calling you bastards, we quickly realised that MailBuild was a better solution. We had spent weeks creating an in house version of Broadcast, but it took us about 10 minutes to switch to MailBuild, and another 10 to rebrand it as our own.
Their team have done a great job rebranding the app and creating a marketing site around it. They've even gone as far as creating some great demo movies to highlight the products key features using their own branding.
Read the full case study to find out how they attract new customers and what the results have been so far.

Reselling MailBuild Case Studies: Breeze
Posted by David Greiner on June 15, 2007 10:41 AM
You know a reseller is doing something right when dozens of people get in touch with us to make sure we're not being ripped off. That's exactly what happened with Breeze, from the team at Oklahoma based Element Fusion.
Their team developed a great looking site around the product and have had huge success in pitching it to their current customers, as well as attracting a range of new customers. We sat down with Tim Wall, director of product marketing for Element Fusion to find out how the entire experience has been at their end. Check out the full case study in our resource center.

Reselling MailBuild Case Studies: Mail & Go
Posted by David Greiner on June 13, 2007 4:15 PM
Today we added a new article to our Resource Center called how to re-brand MailBuild as your own email marketing product. The guide includes loads of recommendations to make reselling MailBuild as your own product as easy as possible.
As well as listing tips from our end, we figured what better way to highlight the best approaches than to showcase a number of customers who are already doing it so well. Not only are these customers selling MailBuild to their own clients, but they're creating successful and profitable side businesses out of it.
To get the ball rolling, we fired a few questions to Luc Pestille from in2, a UK based marketing agency reselling MailBuild as Mail & Go. They've created a brilliant site around the product and have had incredible success since they launched a few months back.
Luc explains how they got the idea to resell MailBuild, how they've been promoting it to their clients and what the results have been to date. Check out the full case study in our resource center.
