Custom domain names almost here

Not long ago we mentioned our upcoming custom domain name feature, to let you use your own domain name with your MailBuild account.
We actually finished this feature a little while ago and nearly released it, but it would have required you all to edit your templates to make it work. So instead of putting that work on you, we decided to hold off until we could sort all that out on your behalf.
So start thinking about what domain name you might want to use for your account - and look out in the next couple of weeks for the launch.
Update: Just in time for the holidays we've pushed this feature live and plan on making an official announcement soon. You can set up your custom domain under the Customize tab in your account.
Once you make the change and your domain is verified, we'll automatically log you in at your new address and change all your templates/drafts to use your domain for all image references and link tracking, making your account truly private label. Enjoy, thanks for your patience and happy holidays!

Beautiful! :)
You guys to continue to amaze. Does this mean that our existing MailBuild client accounts will be transferred to the custom domain? Or do we start fresh? :)
Great news, looking forward to that being available. I'm interested in the answer to Andrew's question too. Thanks for improving the products.
Thanks Stig. Andrew and Dee, we'll continue to reserve your current site address in case you stop using your new domain or there is a DNS issue, so that will always work as a fall back. Once you make the switch, it's up to you to inform your clients about the new login destination.
Having said that, once you add your own custom domain, you can always add the new version of the login code to your site so any clients logging into their account from your site will automatically be logged in at the new URL.
Love it! Any others out there who are anxious to see the feature of User Management for email recipients wanting to manage their preferences? Updating email addresses, changing lists of interest etc???
I can't wait! Kudos to all the wonderful work being done here. I am preparing to do a formal launch of this service to my customers - but would rather wait until this "custom" domain name feature is in place. Is there a firm date when this will be happening?
Brilliant! Can't wait. Will we see it happen before the New Year?
We're hoping to have this ready before the New Year but testing over the next few days will confirm if we'll make this deadline or not.
All I want for Christmas is custom DNS!! Thanks again! I saw the new fixes and they are excellent. Keep it up!
Hi guys, just a quick heads up that we've now pushed this feature live and plan on making an official announcement soon. You can set up your custom domain under the Customize tab in your account.
