Template: Stradbroke Weddings

When you are dealing with a large amount of text in an email, your template needs to be carefully designed so as not to create an overwhelming effect.
This template by Brisbane based design firm Propeller is simply but thoughtfully built. We particularly like the web version, forward to a friend and unsubscribe links right up front, and the effective use of the table of contents to jump into the long copy sections.

Thanks for the compliments Matthew, I'm sure Jeannie from SW will be thrilled. The email newsletter is part of an overall online marketing strategy encompassing an RSS enabled e-commerce site built on Shopify, used to feature not only products and services but also some stunning photography from the various weddings and functions managed by SW.
Site visitors can subscribe to the newsletter on the home page of the site and previous campaigns are displayed as best practice to provide a preview of the newsletter - hence visitors can decide whether they like the newsletter prior to signing up or new and prospective clients can access the prior emails to find out whats going on.
We previously used CM to produce SW's email marketing and recently ported it to Mailbuild (under our PropellerMail Lite brand) to enable Jeannie to author her own newsletters. Jeannie is now syndicating her news blogs into her newsletters where possible with follow-through links to the full articles so she can track interest and is gaining great results from the elements working together in concert.
