Template: River City Church

Today we're highlighting a fantastic looking email template designed by Florida based Livingston and Partners for River City Church.

Originally sent using Campaign Monitor, the design team have seamlessly converted it to a great looking MailBuild template the church can update and deliver themselves. Here's a few of the design elements they get right:

Link to a web-based version of the email in the header.
All important headlines and links are text and not images.
The most compelling content to encourage an open (the newsletters highlights) are in the top left, great for preview panes.
They ask their recipients to add their sending email address to their address book to improve the chances of images being displayed and the campaign not being filtered as spam.

If you're looking for any inspiration when designing templates for your clients, this is a great place to start.
